12-Feb-03 - New Hunter game
Universal Interactive and Interplay have
announced that Hunter:The Reckoning Redeemer is
in development for the Xbox at High Voltage
games, the company responsible for Hunter: The
Reckoning. The game will feature the 4
characters from the first game, a new character,
and 20 new areas. Hunter: The Reckoning Redeemer
will also include a four-player cooperative mode
and new content that can be downloaded via Xbox
Live.

Boys II
Empire Interactive has announced that it has
secured the rights to publish games based on the
upcoming film Bad Boys II, featuring martin
lawrence and Will smith

04-Feb-03 - MotoGP 2
THQ has today released details on some of the
features that will be appearing in MotoGP 2, the
sequel to the motorcycle racing game that's
currently enjoying a resurge in popularity
thanks to its compatibility with Xbox Live.
Unsurprisingly, MotoGP 2 will also be playable
online, and it will feature eight different
modes of play, including stunt, GP, time trial,
training challenges, tag, Live, multiplayer, and
single race. Up to four players will be able to
race on a single screen, while up to 16 players
will be able to race together on Xbox Live.

03-Feb-03 - Mech
Assault Downloads Delayed
Microsoft has announcement that the downloadable
MechAssault content, including new maps and
mechs, originally scheduled for release in
January will not make it out by the end of the
month. According to the release, the need for
additional testing and preparation is the cause
of the delay. No release date for the new
content has been given at this time, though
microsoft says that it will be available soon.

01-FEB-03 - THE SIMS!!!
Electronic Arts has announced that following the
successful release of The Sims on PS2, a version
of the game for the Xbox and GameCube is now
under development. It will include many features
not found in the PC version. The game is
scheduled for release in Spring this year.

publish Soul Caliber II in Europe
Electronic Arts has announced that they will
publish the PS2 and Xbox versions of Namco's
next fighter in Europe and all PAL territories. |
